A Georgian Renovation in Bath
Fantastic renovation of an entire Georgian flat in Bath, in keeping with the period style. New engineered oak flooring, hanging new oak front door and all internal doors, skirting, dado rail, traditional wall panelling, solid oak stair cladding and boxing in cupboards constructed around meters and pipes.

A Loft Renovation in Bristol
Loft apartment renovation in Bristol. Complete overhaul from top to bottom, maintaining and enhancing many period features. All new internal stud work, insulation, dry-lining, kitchen installed, dormer windows repaired, joists repaired where necessary, reclaimed floorboards replaced and restored by sanding back and varnishing, construction of built in cupboards under eaves and in hallway, internal doors hung, architrave and skirting installed.
An Interesting Flat Project in Bristol
The entire level of the floor in the flat was raised up with timber battens and shims on the existing floor to counteract how unlevel the existing floor was. Acoustic insulation was installed and new structural engineered oak floorboards laid throughout in a light pale tone which added to the spaciousness of the rooms. Stairs clad and new solid oak stair bullnosing trim installed together with new skirting boards, and dado rails. Structural flooring sheets installed in the room to be carpeted.

"The job was a complex task involving the hall, landing area on four floors of a house built in 1785. We asked to have nearly all surfaces, walls, ceilings and floors renovated. Lucas gave us a clear estimate. He agreed to a two phase plan at our convenience. Second phase tightly planned to coincide with when we were away. Lucas efficiently planned and carried out the project involving other building trades. The work was to a very high standard and completed to time. Lucas was a pleasure to have around offering solutions to unanticipated issues. We were greatly pleased to return to our beautifully renovated house that had been given great care and attention.”

Lucas Kane Carpentry installed 60Sqm2 of LVT click flooring in a herringbone pattern throughout the entire ground floor of our house. Lots of positives, In particular, the guys navigated around our kitchen cabinets really well, managing to slide the planks underneath leaving a really nice finish. Very professional job. I cannot praise Lucas Kane Carpentry enough. They have done 2 jobs for me. The first was small but exceptionally difficulty and challenging - hanging 2 sets of very heavy bookcases from a slanting wall to hold hundreds of books. Cool clever skilled work achieved the desired outcome. The second job entailed laying decking. I was stunned by the care, thoroughness and aesthetic sense. Absolutely delighted!
